K-Love The Poet is an international touring poet, speaker, and author affectionately known as "Mother of the Southside" for her dedication to youth poets in Chicago so much so that she received a lifetime achievement and was given the honor to speak for the 44th president of the United States Barack Obama by the Obama Foundation.
