2025 USCHA Faith Pre-Conference

People of faith, faith leaders, and people working in the HIV and AIDS response are invited to attend the one-day Faith Pre-Conference to the U.S. Conference on HIV/AIDS to discuss and develop strategies to access and strengthen the capacity of houses of worship and faith-based organizations who are engaged or wish to engage, in efforts to end the HIV epidemic. The focus of this conference will be on the experiences of people in the U.S. and the role of faith in combating HIV-related stigma and discrimination. The conference will include a keynote address, a faith message, panel discussions with persons living with and affected by HIV, and breakout sessions on social determinants related to HIV including disparities in HIV education, prevention, and treatment. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in the discussion, participate in the development of strategies, and network with colleagues working in and with faith communities.

US HIV & AIDS FAITH COALITION

People of faith, faith leaders and people working in the HIV and AIDS response gather for a one-day faith pre-conference in advance of the U.S. Conference on AIDS (USCA) to discuss and develop strategies to strengthen the capacity of houses of worship and faith-based organizations that are engaged, or wish to engage, in efforts to end the HIV epidemic.

The focus of this conference will be on the role of faith in attaining and fast-tracking the goals of ending the HIV epidemic by 2030. The conference will include keynote addresses, panel discussions with persons living with and affected by HIV, breakout sessions on disparities and social determinants related to health, and disparities in sexuality education. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in the discussion, participate in the development of strategies, and network with colleagues working in and with faith communities.

The United Church of Christ serves as the fiscal agent for US HIV & AIDS Faith Coalition.
