Nature journaling offers a personalized and distinctive way to connect with the natural world while enriching your curiosity. Through reflection, writing, and sketching, Laura Beltran, Education Director with Nature Investigations and certified nature journaling educator through the Wild Wonder Foundation, will introduce a variety of journaling techniques that will allow you to discover the approach that is best for you. Paired with mindful birding led by experienced birder and Vice President of the Rutland County Audubon Society, Kathleen Guinness, this overnight retreat will encourage you to enter into a joyful practice, one that you can carry with you and nourish throughout the seasons.
We'll be spending time outdoors carrying our supplies as we explore. Pencils and paper will be provided, but we do ask that you please bring a portable chair. All meals and hospitality are included.
