The seasons are changing in the St. Croix Valley Memorial Forest!

Join us for the season closing event before winter snow comes to the St. Croix Valley Memorial Forest.

Enjoy a community day in the forest: meet other Better Place Forests families and enjoy a forest walk with hot cocoa or cider. We’ll have games and light refreshments before we close for the winter months.

Pack a picnic and spend the day with us. It’s a chance to connect, reflect, and enjoy the company—no matter your age.

Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Bring your friends and family!

Friends & Family Special Offer
Bring your friends and family to the celebration! If they decide to buy a Memorial Tree, they'll save $1,000 on their purchase in 2025.

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

The weather can vary greatly! Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes with good tread.

Can I bring my family/friends/neighbors/pets?

Yes of course! All are welcome to come enjoy the forest. We just ask that all furry friends come on leash. Please sign up for how many tickets you think you will need. If anything changes, just call us at (628) 237-3922 or email us at care@betterplaceforests.org.

Anything else I should bring?

We have places to sit at the welcome tent, but you may want to bring a camping chair so you can sit anywhere in the forest.
