SCVCS Back to School Bash

Description:Kick off the new school year with us at the South Carolina Virtual Charter School's Back to School Bash! This free, family-friendly event is open to all SCVCS students and their families across the state. Come connect in person, celebrate the start of a new year, and explore exciting hands-on opportunities for learning and growth.

• 🎓 Career & College Readiness Zone with experts from industries across South Carolina
• 🧑‍🚒 Safety Town Zone for younger students featuring community helpers and demos
• 🎁 Giveaways, prizes, and family fun for all ages
• 📸 Photo ops and a chance to meet SCVCS staff and teachers
• 📍 Passport check-ins to explore different zones and earn cool prizes

*There will be a sensory zone as well.This space offers a quieter environment with reduced sensory input for students who may need a break during the event. Noise-reducing headphones and a variety of fidgets are available to help students self-regulate. The area is designed to be calm and simple, providing a supportive place to relax away from crowds and activity. Students are welcome to take a break here at any time during the event.

Photos will be taken during this event. These photos may be used on the SCVCS website or social media accounts. Student names will not be used with these photos. It is possible that your student will be seen in some of these photos. We highly encourage those of you who do not want photos published to avoid cameras when possible.
