About this event

Are you a Christian parent who has an LGBTQ child and lots of questions? Are you concerned about what the Bible has to say about your child? Are you wrestling with what it means to honor God and continue to love and embrace your child after they've come out? If so, you are not alone on this journey—and you are invited to attend a daylong program on Thursday, October 2, for parents just like you.

The Reformation Project is hosting our biennial Reconcile and Reform Conference at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park from October 2-4. Before the conference officially starts on the evening of October 2, we'll host our Parents in Process pre-conference program for Christian parents of LGBTQ children.

Parents in Process attendees are welcome and encouraged to stay for the Reconcile and Reform conference from Thursday evening through Saturday evening. Separate registration is required for the conference. Tickets for Parents in Process are $25 for conference attendees and $45 for non-attendees. Ticket sales are non-refundable. Lunch is included in the ticket price.

At Parents in Process, you will hear from other Christian parents who have navigated the challenges of learning how to cultivate a loving and supportive relationship with their LGBTQ child without abandoning or compromising their faith. You will also hear the stories of adult LGBTQ Christians as they reflect on what they needed from their own parents in order to thrive as individuals and followers of Christ. Along the way, there will be opportunities for questions and dialogue as well as exploration into the teachings of Scripture on topics related to gender, marriage, and sexual ethics.
