July STEM Saturday: Philadelphia

OIC of America invites K-8 students and their families to Philadelphia STEM Saturday: July at Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School! Participation is free.

Elementary and middle school students will have opportunities to connect to knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering and math through interactive, hands-on activities, including:

• Explore the processes of weathering and how rock size affects its rate.
• Investigate the forces that break down rocks, including natural processes like ice-wedging and root-wedging.
• Understand erosion and its prevention through hands-on activities and experiments.
