Gifting Hands with Tip Jones

Come join us for a fun time where we spread love and kindness through gifting hands by making a difference in someone's life! We will also be celebrating a special occasion with our homegirl, Tip!

How It Works

  1. Each person will present their gift to our founder, Tip Jones, at the start of the meal
    ($50 cash) which will be given as the tip/gift, in a greetings card, to our server at the end of our meal
  2. The cost of your meal is on you and separate from the money provided as the gift for the server. We will request individual, separate checks.
  3. We will take a group photo to commemorate the event
  4. ...and leave with our bellies and hearts full

August 2, 2025 is also Tip Jones' FREEDOM DAY!

Tip's 2024 threw her devastating blows resulting in major life changes but God! Our sister, friend, daughter, niece, "boo thang", Tip Jones, emerged wiser, lighter (in spirit and body...lol), and happier. To commemorate her "phoenix rising," being grief and pain-free, and filled with self-love, August 2nd is now "Tip Jones FREEDOM DAY"!

What happened to Tip in 2024?

An unfortunate bunch which she will share at a high level at brunch.

Do I have to bring $50 cash if I'm paying for my own food?

Yes. The $50 is the "Gifting Hands" surprise tip we present to our server right before we depart the restaurant.

Should I bring Tip a gift, too?

Totally up to you. She's not expecting anything but your presence. Yet, if you want to celebrate her Freedom Day with a present, here are a few ideas: Starbucks gift cards, Banana Republic gift cards, American Airlines gift cards. (Ya'll know she's a travel junkie!)

Can I bring a friend?

Yes! They will need to register to ensure we provide the restaurant an accurate headcount.

Will there be gratuity added to the bill?

Yes. Mr. Charles Chicken and Fish adds 20% gratuity to parties over 6. We consider this extra padding for our server's pocket who we are there to bless any way!

Do we select our server?

No. Whoever is assigned to our party is who the blessing is assigned to.

Why is it 18 and over?

The grown folks will be engrossed in uncensored, multifaceted conversation.
