Living the life of a writer means learning to trust the process — even when it’s messy. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to guide students through each stage of writing in a way that honors their voice and creativity. From generating ideas to revising and editing, you’ll discover ways to help students lean into the journey of writing with patience and pride.

What do I need to participate?

Please come with a way to write down ideas — this could mean having a notebook, paper, a writing utensil, or a digital way to capture ideas.

Do I need any experience as a writer to attend this workshop?

Nope! All teachers are welcome. We’ll meet you where you are.

Will I need to share my writing?

There will be opportunities to share BUT you always have the right to pass. If you prefer not to share your own writing, you can share your thoughts about the learning…but again, only if you want to. You always have the right to pass.
