Have you ever wondered if a child’s reaction is normal, or that you’re selecting the right consequences? This workshop will take an in-depth look at how emotions develop in the early years to better help parents, caregivers, therapists, and other people who work with young children understand what cognitive and neurological processes are going on behind the scenes.
Participants will be able to:
- Understand the cognitive processing occurring from birth to preschool.
- Have a better comprehension of what neurotypical emotional development looks like.

FAQs
What entrance to the building do I use for the event?
There will be signs outside directing you to the correct entrance. The event will be held on the bottom floor training room of EMERGE. You will enter in the side door of the building (to the right of the parking lot, facing the building) by the concrete staircase.

What is the Refund Policy?

You do not need a printed ticket. Save a copy of your email confirmation for your records.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Your ticket may only be used for this event.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
The name on the ticket needs to match the name of the person attending the event. If you plan to buy a ticket for someone else, make sure to register with the name and email of the person planning to attend the event.
How do I receive CE credit for this workshop?
After the workshop you will receive an online evaluation. Once your evaluation is submitted electronically, you will be emailed a copy of your workshop certificate.
