The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) presents this free workshop to our New York City small business community through our legal vendor Build Up Justice NYC.


Through this and our upcoming free workshops and legal clinics, SBS' Commercial Lease Assistance Program will assist those who struggle with commercial lease related issues. The workshop presenters are experienced business attorneys who have successfully counseled business owners on lease agreements.

You will learn about:

• How to negotiate your lease

• What to look out for when signing a new lease

• How to set your commercial space for success


This event offers a unique opportunity for attendees to ask our attorneys general questions about their commercial lease issues during the Q&A session, following the presentation. Please note that if you require specific legal advice, you can sign up for our free legal clinics or complete an intake form for further assistance.
