Who should attend this event?

The Howard University School of Social Work Professional Development and Continuing Education courses are designed for social work professionals seeking to stay updated on the latest trends, network with peers, and earn valuable continuing education credit.

Are continuing education credits offered for attending this event?

This training qualifies for 1.5 CEU Category I credits. There is an additional $25/pp fee for continuing education certificates. Currently enrolled Howard social work students are offered the course and certificate free of charge.

Where will this event be held?

This training will be held virtually. A zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants 24-48 hours prior to the scheduled event.

What board approves the HUSSW continuing education courses?

The Howard University School of Social Work is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Board of Social Work Examiners in the District of Columbia. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted.
